Rodney Steele is an Arkansas native who deeply believes that we are all connected with and dependent upon nature. And, that there is a direct link between humanity’s health and well-being and that of nature’s. With a meditative style that includes a sprinkling of humor, he highlights this connection with the hope of increasing our love for and stewardship of nature by embracing its benefits for our bodies, minds, and spirits.  

Besides his own book, Our Shared Home, the Gift of Nature, his photographs have been featured in several books, magazines, newspapers, articles and exhibits. He is particularly excited about raising thousands of dollars through the sales of his photographs to help fund hunger projects, fresh water wells in rural Africa, public art, service nonprofits and college scholarships.
