Trees & Leaves

They provide us with fresh oxygen, and from them we have built homes, tools, and works of art. They invite us to travel with them, and if we pay attention, they tell us of their own journey. They show us beauty in the changing seasons and their variety. Below ground, out of sight, they are connected and share with one another. Maybe we feel connected with them because in so many ways trees are like us, and we are like them.
